PicnicHealth is excited to announce our Holiday 2021 Donation Campaign. PicnicHealth is donating to patient advocacy groups everytime a patient joins a PicnicHealth research study until January 2, 2022. PicnicHealth strives to support patients in the places they are currently receiving unparalleled support. While we cannot invite our patient volunteers to our real-life table, we hope to provide some care and comfort and a virtual seat during this holiday season.
This year we grew our portfolio of real-world data research cohorts by launching studies in Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease, Primary Biliary Cholangitis, Myasthenia Gravis, and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. To that end, we have adopted patient advocacy groups working with each community, including:
The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) - a leading resource for the entire MS community, improving lives today through vital services and support.
The Parkinson’s Community - a PD support group helping to connect the right patients with the right treatment, providing educational resources to better understand treatment plans and research opportunities.
The Memory Cafe - a collection of comfortable, social gathering opportunities that allow people experiencing memory loss and their loved ones to connect, socialize, and build new support networks.
The PBCers Organization - a wonderful organization offering education and support to Primary Biliary Cholangitis patients, family members and friends, and raising funds to help research the causes and a cure for PBC.
The Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of California - a grassroots organization providing funds for medical education, patient support and to advance research into the cause and cure of myasthenia gravis, helping to serve patients residing in California and Nevada with the best possible care and resources available
The Northeast ALS Consortium (NEALS) - an academic research consortium, working to translate scientific advances into new treatments for people with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and Motor Neuron Diseases as rapidly as possible.

We center on the patient and connect them with life science researchers, creating quality, deep real-world datasets that include the complete picture of patients’ health care journeys. Patient volunteers receive a PicnicHealth Timeline where they can access their complete medical records, organized in one place, and our Research Platform for Life Sciences provides researchers with anonymized and aggregated datasets designed to answer disease-specific research questions. By partnering with patients and researchers we hope to both empower patients to take ownership of their own medical information and help to accelerate breakthroughs in care.
